FAQs

Sticky note FAQs

Drag sorting, storage, and editing basics.

Where are my stickies saved?

Everything is stored in your browser’s localStorage. Your notes never leave your device.

Can I rearrange notes?

Yes. Drag a sticky to reorder it. When you drag, the board switches to custom order so your layout sticks.

How does sorting work?

Choose custom (drag), newest, oldest, or A-Z. Dragging always creates a custom order you can keep or change.

Can I change colors?

Pick from five preset colors or randomize when creating a note. You can edit a note’s color anytime.
